Are you feeling overwhelmed in your business? Do you feel you don’t have time to do anything but work? You probably started a business thinking, “Finally my own business, now I can have all the free time I want.” But now you find out there is so much work to do and things to keep up on, there is no time for yourself. You need to start practicing the 5-D formula for business.
5-D Formula:
1. Do It. Do the important things right now! Don’t put them off, don’t be a procrastinator. Get the hard things done first and the rest of the stuff will become easy.
2. Defer It. Some of the small tasks can wait for another day. Don’t fret over them, defer them.
3. Delegate It. Give up the having to be in control attitude. Let someone else take care of certain things. You will be surprised to find others can do it as good as you, and it will free up a lot of your time.
4. Dump It. Learn to say NO! Be firm and choose not to do everything.
5. Dominate It. Make your self a schedule, stick to it and dominate that into your business.
You need to always focus on the priorities of your business. Using the 5-D Formula will help you put things that need to be done in their proper order. By doing this your business will run smoothly and you will have all the free time that you want.
The reason you started your own business in the first place will become a reality. That reality is Freedom. So implement the 5-D Formula into your business, starting right now.
