The Zune HD was released not long ago and finally, some customers have got hold of them. In this article we are going to take a closer look at what customers have to say about this new portable media player. Some say that it will rival the very popular iPod touch. Some even go as far as saying that it will replace the iPod to become the world’s most popular portable media player.

The Zune HD is very similar to the iPod Touch in terms of function. It is predominantly a portable MP3 and Video player. It can also play HD radio stations, a feature that is currently quite rare among media players.

This new media player from Microsoft also has a 3.3-inch OLED touch screen. When compared to my old iPod Touch, the images on the Zune HD screen seem much more crisp and a little brighter. The OLED touch-screen was also very responsive, comparable to those on Apple devices.

Customers who had had the pleasure of using the Zune HD were most impressed with its user interface. The navigation process was very fluid and slick. The user interface is very visual and fun to use. Then there is the Zune Marketplace. For as little as $15 a month, you can download an unlimited amount of MP3s. Personally, my favorite feature it’s the design of this new model. The iPod Touch’s design has remained unchanged for so many years now. Honestly, it is getting a little boring. The Zune HD is just a breath of fresh air in the stale world of portable media player.
