So, you’ve just reached level 80! Let me first congratulate you for a job well done, and to welcome you to the *real* game!

Well, now that you’re here, you’ve got quite a few things to do and experience! Raiding, pvp, getting cool equipment, getting your flying mount…

Wait, did you say that you don’t have the money to do all that? That’s alright! Everyone has faced that problem before. Heck, my own epic flying mount took *ages* to get. It’s no small feat, amassing 5000g for that.

But tell you what, I’ll give you some tips on how to make money quicker. Yep, these are all used by me to get more gold, faster. So listen up! This stuff’s important!

#1: Daily Quests are your friend. Seriously. Now that you’re 80, all the quests receive a gold reward increment to replace the XP reward that you (obviously) don’t need anymore. Daily quests in particular can give you around 10g a pop, so it’s a good idea to hit them hard and fast, every day. Make out a plan for doing daily quests, ideally one that lets you go around in a circuit. Makes it easy and smooth. Also, when you’ve done dailies often enough, you’ll find that some of them are much easier and higher paying than others. Concentrating on them would be wise.

#2: Everybody loves rocks. More specifically, ores that you can mine out in the various zones. People will want them even if it’s Copper, so don’t worry about not getting any buyers. Obviously, since you’re 80, you should seek out the top-tier rocks and mine the hell out of them. Players will pay good money for those to make better equipment and upgrades.

#3: Use the Auction House. If you’re good at spotting market trends in the AH, you can figure out the supply and demand for each item. Zoom in on an item and then attempt to establish a monopoly. If successful, you control how much that item should sell for, and watch the income stream in!

The bits of advice featured above are just a few tips to help give you direction on how to make money in WoW fast. However, this is only the tip of the iceberg, so to speak.
