There are a few things you need to know about selling on eBay, first of which is the product is the king.

If you don’t have a product that people want to buy then you’ll never really make money selling on eBay, so that should be first. I’ve written a few articles on Ezine about finding the best products to sell on eBay exactly for this reason, people are always searching for what they should be selling. I won’t get into this right now, but I’ll touch on it in a little bit.

So, how to make money selling on eBay.

Solve problems for people in a clear way and they will buy your products.

That’s it. I’m not sure if you’ve really heard this kind of theory before in this kind of way, but that’s the only real “trick,” being able to solve people’s problems and letting them know.

Once you solve their problems, they will know that you actually have something of value to offer them. Thus, when they

1) Know they have a problem
2) Have found what can solve their problem

Then a magical event occurs, and they buy it!

That’s what happens in all sorts of business, consumer and corporate. It’s all problem solving or pleasure seeking. If you can do one of those two things, either give a consumer pleasure or solve one of their problems, then you will see success very quickly.

That’s the one secret, the one tip, that evades most of the newcomers to eBay. After you figure that one out it’s just finding those same products for cheap costs, so that you can increase your profit potential.
