A Smart autoresponder is they key to making money and simplifying everything you do online. Below are five important things that a smart autoresponder should do for you.

1) A smart auto responder should be easy to set up meaning that you can have an opt in form on your site within minutes. The whole point of it being smart is that you should have to do as little as possible.

2) You should be able to add all your follow up emails and simply schedule when they will be sent to each user so that you literally have to do nothing once they sign up for your list – is will already be set up by you to run automatically.

3) A smart autoresponder should track the open rates of the emails and split test (ie send different versions of the same email). That way you can rewrite your email until you maximise its open rate. After all, if people don’t open your email then they won’t click on your links and you won’t make money!

4) It follows then that a smart autoresponder will also track how many people click on the links in your emails. You can keep adjusting the text in you email and see if you can get a higher click rate. They are however quite similar and it really comes down to personal preference. The good thing is that neither ties you down to a long term contract so if you did try one and didn’t like it you could always switch to the other
