But if you paraphrase content, and then give credit to the author, and even better, a link to their site or blog, you create a win-win situation. You look smart and authoritative for finding the valuable content. And the author gets site traffic from your site traffic. It’s how the internet works.

Some people actually operate very successful blogs-and very profitable ones-without creating one single word of content themselves. They spend their days surfing the internet for valuable nuggets of content, repost them-giving proper credit of course-and in the process become known for their high value sites. Oh and by the way-they also make money in the process.
