YouTube is one of the biggest social networking sites in the world. Millions of people from all over the world view videos everyday. Both the quality of many of the videos and the information provided on these videos has improved. You can find information on fishing, golfing, how to raise gold fish and more. There are cooking videos, auto repair, bicycle repair, and more. There are some very talented people producing entertainment videos as well. It is actually quite fascinating some of the videos on that are being produced on YouTube.

The nice thing about YouTube is that it is one of the most democratic video sites in the world. While Television studios are producing shows that cost millions of dollars, videos can be made by young and old for the price of a video camera and a computer. This website is accessible to almost anyone in the world. My children and several of their friends spend more time watching YouTube than they do watching TV.

I will watch many of the tutorials on PhotoShop, fly fishing, fitness, even some cooking videos, etc. There is a wealth of information on this site. What about the traffic to your site from YouTube? Is it worth the cost in time and effort? Initially, it might not seem to be worth the time and effort, but it is basically a source of free traffic. You never know which video is going to take off. For example one of my videos on Wii Fit was picked up by somebody, it was emailed to several people and it took off and in a period of couple of months, and I got close to a 1000 visitors to my website about Wii Fit.
